Love is so much more than an amorous disposition.......embracing all in its spiritual austerity, composing a kind of cloud of happiness that we haven't experienced since long......
Since the nonchalance of childhood gave way to the rowdy youth...
Since naivety was replaced by power of reason.....
Since full-throttle laughter was banished by subdued demeanour...
Since caprice transformed into calculated gestures...
Since vanity beckoned, and we stopped being our natural selves!
The love we now look for is no longer the love we knew as kids...
The one transcending space and time....
Refusing to be seduced by the beauty of looks,
Refusing to be swayed by the nobility of rank!
The ingenious love, holding people together,
The warm love, that felt like a child's cuddle,
The pious love, free from sensual desires!
Is that love forever lost?

Anando............my dear friend............I just liked it.......
ReplyDeleteFind it interesting.... writing is not well thought of rather thoughts wander in your mind and you have captivated them. Short and prescise but I would like it more if you have elaborated them more in terms of common gestures of love which we used to find in our childhood comparing to the love that is arising out of compulsion, necessity, circumstances & a thing of passtime....
