I was thinking of Shafaq the other day..Did i love her?

when we studied in Std I in Mrs U Singh's school..

Well, im not sure..all i know is i hated this teacher who reshuffled everybody's places...and i and Shafaq weren't sitting together anymore..

I hated Vikram too..whenever he shared her tiffin..and not because i'd be getting lesser shares.. I just disliked Vikram anywhere around her..

When Mrs Khasnobis, the class teacher, read us Snow White, I thought she were the beleaguered princess... and I the rescuer..

I left for St Xavier's in Std IVth... and then only once saw her in the city bus, sometime around 1999...when i was in std XIth, i saw her pic in the newspaper..she was enrolled in MMC..and had won the Ms Fresher award..

And he's such a gentleman...although i had agreed on the same CTC as i drew in The Hindu, he gave 25k hike willingly!

Sent them the acceptance letter finally...I'd be joining on July 20...But, there's a string.. i have changed the venue for announcement..

Interested parties can keep watching the space on FB...anon followers would kill me now..there had been above 100 pageviews in 48 hours..

It's not that it was the biggest brand..from among the 3-4 i had...

but they are accommodating me as correspondent..giving me 25K hike to what i earned at the Hindu.. which in fact is generous, considering i've worked for only 4 mnths..and, the beat is purely politics..

And on the top of it, they'd transfer me to Patna upon 10 mnths' work..if i so desire..but between that, i'd be in Delhi..my second home..
